North America’s largest urban innovation hub in Toronto that supports startups in the health, cleantech, fintech, and enterprise sectors.

In Fall 2022, MaRS launched its second cohort of the RBC Women in Cleantech Accelerator, a 2-year intensive to teach and support 10 early-stage women-led startups through workshops, networking, advisory support, and industry connections. Following the equity investment segment of the program, Volition designed and delivered the All About the Customer Sales Program to equip participant companies with the tools and tactics to build their next lead generation and Sales Strategy. 

The Partnership

  • 90-min Masterclasses to provide the cohort with the confidence to close their first (or next) sale. Topics include Lead Gen, Sales Pitch, Sales Proposal, Pricing Strategies and Negotiations.

  • 90-min Roundtable (Practical session) to practice what they've learned through the masterclasses and receive feedback on their Sales Pitch and Sales Proposal, in a friendly, realistic and yet risk-free environment.

  • In addition to the training, all startups have access to tailored 1:1 business advising from Volition’s Business Advisors to work on their sales pitch and sales proposal or to receive guidance on a topic/pain point of choice.
