Centre for Women in Business is Atlantic Canada's leading resource for women entrepreneurs. It is located at Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) and is a not-for-profit University Business Development Centre (UBDC) supported by Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and MSVU.
Grow Now is a virtual incubator specifically designed for female-led technology companies based in Canada. The program offers essential training, mentoring, one-on-one coaching and business advisory support to enhance the business acumen of tech female founders and startups. Volition has been designated as one of the delivery partners for 2023-2024 program.
The Partnership

90-min Masterclasses to provide the cohort with the tools, knowledge and confidence to know where their business is in its funding/fundraising journey and be able to identify next steps and how to research and access available resources (Dilutive & Non-dilutive).

90-min Roundtable designed to build the startups’ pitch skills, and get them pitch-ready. The cohort is divided into groups of 3-4 startups and joined by a Pitch Coach, to practice, receive feedback, and learn how to hone the pitch.

In addition to the training, all startups have access to tailored 1:1 business advising from Volition’s Business Advisors to work on polishing their pitch and prepare for the following Pitch Events or to receive guidance on a topic/pain point of choice.
